Lake County Clerk's Office Spreads Holiday Cheer Through 'Santa Loves Seniors' Initiative

The Lake County Clerk's Office has once again embraced the spirit of giving by participating in the annual "Santa Loves Seniors" program, a heartfelt initiative organized by Bay and Lake Pharmacy in support of LovExtension.

 

LovExtension, founded by former deputy clerk Linda Krupski, is a dedicated nonprofit that serves the elderly and disabled communities in Lake County and The Villages.

 

For the fifth consecutive year, employees from the Clerk's Office have come together to fulfill the Christmas wishes of those in need.

 

They meticulously gathered and assembled gift bags containing essential items such as clothing, bedding, and cookware, ensuring that each recipient's specific needs were met.

 

In addition to the gift donations, the office organized a bake sale, successfully raising $1,600.

 

This monetary contribution will further aid LovExtension in its mission to support underserved individuals during the holiday season.

 

Clerk and Comptroller Gary Cooney expressed his pride in the team's efforts, stating, "Every year, it warms my heart to see the incredible thoughtfulness and compassion our Clerk family shares to brighten someone's Christmas."

 

He added, "We always look forward to supporting Linda in her honorable mission to serve the less fortunate members of our community."

 

LovExtension, a 501(c)(3) organization, relies on volunteers to enhance the lives of local residents by providing social visits and distributing donated items to those lacking support.
