Guru Indian Restaurant recently hosted a heartfelt holiday luncheon to honor the dedicated members of the Clermont Fire Department and Clermont Police Department.
Owner and Master Chef Uday Kadam expressed deep appreciation for the unwavering commitment of these first responders who ensure the community's safety year-round.
To show gratitude, the restaurant provided complimentary meals featuring their renowned dishes, including tikka masala chicken, tandoori chicken, and a variety of vegetarian options, accompanied by freshly baked naan and refreshing beverages.
Clermont Fire Chief David Ezell remarked, "We sincerely appreciate Uday Kadam and the Guru Indian Restaurant as one of our most generous and kind community partners. Our CFD staff really looks forward to this holiday celebration luncheon every year. It is so nice that they are thankful for the safety and security we provide. This is just one small, yet important event that they share with our community each year. Guru Indian Restaurant is always here to share us their generous support for all Clermont charitable and community programs."
Similarly, Clermont Police Deputy Chief Michael McMaster shared, "We all truly appreciate Uday Kadam and the Guru Indian Restaurant team enough for their ongoing support and partnership that they share with us and our entire community throughout the year. It means so much to us, to have our officers and team so well appreciated by Guru Restaurant and our community partners. This tasty annual event is always amazing. Guru Indian Restaurant remains a great example of the Clermont City who comes together to support us while fostering a positive community relationship."
During the event, firefighters and officers expressed their gratitude, with comments like, "This is really delicious," and "Uday Kadam is a really nice and generous man."
Clermont City Manager Rick Van Wagner also attended, adding, "We all thank and appreciate Uday Kadam and the Guru Indian Restaurant, for always being so wonderfully supportive of our fire fighters and our entire community!"
Reflecting on the occasion, Uday Kadam stated, "I really want our Guru Indian Restaurant Team to show our appreciation for how valuable our Clermont Police and Fire Departments are to protect us every day of the year. Their dedicated service to our community is extremely important. We love our first responders, all our public servants and our many loyal customers."
